Mitsui Bussan Chemicals, one of the group companies of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., has developed as a trading company handling a variety of chemical products, especially solvents, paints, raw materials for paints, resins, adhesives, polyurethanes, raw materials for urethane and industrial chemicals.
The following principles guide our actions: “resolve to challenge and create,” “do the right thing properly and joyfully” and “collaborate closely with customers.” Based on these values, we will keep striving to solve various problems faced by our society through chemicals, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, giving respectful consideration to the environment. Listening carefully to the concerns and needs of our customers, we will endeavor to improve customer satisfaction through the provision of functions and creation of values as a comprehensive trading company-affiliated trading company dealing with chemical products by fully utilizing Mitsui Group’s global network and various assets, including customer bases other than those of the chemical industry.

Setting our vision to be “a company that creates added value through a combination of distribution (Mono/products) and technologies/intellectual properties (Koto/services) in various industries related to chemicals”, we will further refine existing distribution business, while in new business domains, strengthening our efforts toward the wellness fields, mainly cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, medical, and health food materials. In addition, we are highly motivated to build our business approached from various social issues, and plan to shift from a conventional trading company specializing in chemical products centered on distribution, and make further progress toward a new trading company offering diverse solutions in line with the trends of the times.
